CLMP SUBMISSION PORTAL
The Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) ensures a vibrant, diverse literary landscape by helping small literary publishers work better. We communicate the art of literary publishing to readers, writers, booksellers, librarians, educators, funders and other literary stakeholders, and work to bring all of these communities together. CLMP carries out this mission so that essential literary voices from all corners can make their way from writers to readers.

CLMP is pleased to offer literary presses, magazines, and online publishers the opportunity to apply for support to pay for 10 to 20 hours of working with a professional consultant on a proposed project to help build organizational capacity. This program helps grantees identify and implement strategies for improvement in areas such as marketing, publicity, distribution, website development, fundraising, strategic and succession planning, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and overall operations.

CLMP is pleased to offer New York State-based literary magazines and presses the opportunity to apply for grants of $2,500, $5,000, and $7,500 to support projects that build organizational capacity and ensure greater sustainability.
The NYSCA NYTAP Regrant Program serves as an interim step toward applying to NYSCA for organizations with budgets large enough to be eligible but without the capacity to apply, and for those publishers with budgets too small to be eligible to apply to NYSCA directly. All projects must focus on capacity building, not the routine costs of publishing. Examples of projects include software upgrades, design projects, accessibility initiatives, special marketing efforts, and development/fundraising efforts. Consultant fees to assist in executing the project may be included in the project budget. Final reporting is required from all grantees.
